Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Medicine or Osteopathy required and unrestricted medical license.
• Appointment with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine at appropriate rank based on experience.
• Fellowship training in relevant specialty areas is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including history, examinations, diagnoses and treatment.
• Prescribes medications and treatment plans as appropriate.
• Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care with other departments.
• Teach medical students and residents; supervise clinical activities.
• May manage daily operations of a medical program or unit.
• Ensure adherence to department policies, safety, and infection-control standards.
• Engage in health promotion and preventive care programs.
• Maintain faculty status and contribute to academic missions.
