Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency.
• Fellowship in Medical Retina, Surgical Retina, Uveitis, or combined program.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Minnesota.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, education, and scholarly productivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care focused on retina, uvea, and related diseases.
• Staff outpatient clinics, perform intravitreal injections, lasers, and surgical interventions.
• Teach and mentor residents, medical students, and retina/uveitis fellows; participate in didactic activities.
• Engage in scholarly activity aligned with departmental excellence, including clinical outcomes, translational research, imaging, or regenerative medicine.
• Participate in departmental, institutional, and national committee service.
