Job summary

The Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine seeks a full time reconstructive and microvascular surgeon to join its academic faculty in Lexington, KY. All ranks considered; the role includes teaching residents, engaging in research, and developing clinical programs with emphasis on breast reconstruction and lymphedema surgery.

Candidates must complete a microsurgery fellowship and be ABPS board certified or in the process of certification.

Qualifications

• Completed fellowship in microsurgery.
• Board certified by ABPS or in process of certification.
• Ideal candidate will have experience in autologous breast reconstruction and lower extremity reconstruction.

Responsibilities

• Teach residents and participate in research.
• Engage in clinical program development and scholarly activities.
• Provide reconstructive and microsurgical care focusing on breast reconstruction, lymphedema surgery, oncologic and traumatic reconstruction.
