Job summary

Indiana University Health seeks a Microsurgery-trained Plastic Surgeon to join its full-time academic faculty. Qualifications

  • Completion of a Microsurgery Fellowship is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise and interest in teaching and academic development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive microsurgical reconstruction services, including oncologic reconstruction, lymphatic reconstruction, extremity reconstruction, and general reconstructive procedures.
  • Participate in shared call coverage within the Division of Plastic Surgery.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical care teams across Surgical Oncology, Breast Surgery, General Surgery, and Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Educate residents, fellows, and medical students through structured teaching and mentoring.
  • Engage in clinical or basic science research; support available for surgeon-scientists and clinically focused faculty.
  • Support the Division's global surgery efforts through the AMPATH Global Program, if desired.
