Qualifications

• Fellowship training in microsurgery is strongly preferred. Current fellows are welcome and encouraged to apply.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited plastic surgery residency or an approved surgical training pathway leading to plastic surgery specialization
• Board certification or eligibility in Plastic Surgery
• Current or eligible unrestricted medical license
• Ability to meet all credentialing, privileging, professional liability, and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide reconstructive plastic surgery care including breast and lower-extremity reconstruction and reconstructive microsurgery.
• Collaborate closely with trauma, oncology, breast surgery, orthopedics, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, wound care/limb salvage and other disciplines.
• Mentor plastic surgery residents and medical students.
• Engage in academic activities and teaching through GW University affiliation.
