Job summary

The Department of Internal Medicine at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a full-time board eligible/board certified Pulmonary/Critical Care provider to join the division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level.

Responsibilities include teaching students, house staff and fellows, patient care, and pulmonary procedures, with opportunities in basic and/or clinical

Qualifications

• Successful completion/in process of an ACGME accredited Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Fellowship program.
• Board certified in Internal Medicine and BE/BC in both Pulmonary Disease & Critical Care Medicine.
• Ability to obtain medical license/DEA for the state of Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Teaching students, house staff and fellows.
• Patient care responsibilities in pulmonary and critical care.
• Performance of pulmonary-related procedures.
• Basic and/or clinical research.
• Weekend call shared among division members.
