Job summary

HealthYes Staffing Network seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Physician for a permanent, full-time role in Southeast Alabama, near the Florida Panhandle. The position blends outpatient pulmonology, inpatient consultations, critical care, and bronchoscopy, with academic interaction and opportunity to work with residents and students.

Experienced candidates and 2027 fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Complete Internal Medicine residency.
• Fellowship in Pulmonary & Critical Care by start date.
• Board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary Disease & Critical Care.
• Active Alabama license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care for pulmonary conditions.
• Diagnose and manage COPD, asthma, pneumonia, respiratory failure, and pulmonary hypertension.
• Evaluate new patients and provide follow-up pulmonary care.
• Manage critically ill adults during scheduled ICU rotations.
• Ventilator management and other critical care services.
• Inpatient pulmonary and critical care consultations.
• Perform bronchoscopy and related procedures within privileges.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, surgeons, cardiologists, and other specialists.
• Coordinate transitions between ICU, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
• Participate in quality-improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
• Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation.
• Support medical education and mentorship when appropriate.
