Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin seeks an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join a collaborative team. The role blends private-practice style patient care with meaningful involvement in resident education and academic medicine.

You’ll work with three OMS attendings within a four-resident program, enabling mentorship, teaching, and robust operative experience while maintaining strong clinical productivity.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited OMS residency.
• Board certified or board eligible (ABOMS).
• Eligible for Wisconsin medical/dental licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope, high-volume OMS care with diverse pathology and case complexity.
• Teach and mentor residents within an accredited program.
• Share on-call responsibilities with residents (1 week per month).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary dental colleagues for comprehensive care.
• Engage in optional research collaboration and education initiatives.
