Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin, seeks an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join a high-volume, academically oriented private-practice hybrid. The position integrates clinical autonomy with meaningful involvement in resident education and academic medicine.

You will be part of a collegial team of three OMS attendings within a four-resident program, offering mentorship, teaching, and robust operative experience, while maintaining strong clinical productivity and opportunities for

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited OMS residency.
• Board certified or board eligible (ABOMS).
• Eligible for Wisconsin medical/dental licensure.

Responsibilities

• Dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants & advanced implant rehabilitation, orthognathic surgery, TMJ arthroscopy and total joint replacement.
• Facial trauma, pathology, bone grafting and reconstruction.
• Collaborative team-based care with Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics and Pediatric dentistry.
• supervise residents in clinic; one week/month call shared with residents.

Education

DDS/DMD from an accredited institution

Completion of an accredited OMS residency

Board certified or board eligible (ABOMS)
