Job summary

District Medical Group (DMG) in Phoenix, AZ invites a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon to join the Valleywise Health Medical Center team. This role provides inpatient and outpatient general plastic and reconstructive services, including elective and emergent care, with shared call coverage.

Candidates should have completed Plastic Surgery residency and be board certified or board eligible; involvement in resident teaching and collaborative research is encouraged at VHMC, a Level I Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Plastic Surgery residency training.
• Board certification or eligibility required.
• Academic environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient general plastic and reconstructive surgery services.
• Share call coverage and manage elective and emergent cases.
• Teach residents and participate in research activities.
• Collaborate with VHS/ VHMC teams and Mayo Clinic rotators.
