Job summary

Valleywise Health Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon to join a four-surgeon division within the DMG group. The role includes inpatient and outpatient services, teaching residents, and participating in research, with exposure to maxillofacial trauma and microvascular cases.

The successful candidate will have completed plastic surgery residency and be board certified or board eligible, with a preference for academic experience.

Qualifications

• Plastic surgeon must complete residency in plastic surgery and be board certified or eligible.
• Expertise in maxillofacial trauma and microvascular techniques required.
• Previous faculty experience in an academic environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient plastic and reconstructive surgery services, elective and emergent care.
• Share call coverage and teach residents in a teaching hospital setting.
• Participate in collaborative research activities and program development.
