TeamHealth is seeking an academic-focused emergency medicine physician to serve as core faculty of the emergency medicine residency program at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach and grow with a relatively new residency program that graduated its first class of residents in 2023. Board-certified EM physician with teaching interest and Ohio license is required.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Active medical license and hospital privileges in Ohio or eligibility.
• Strong interest in teaching and academics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as core faculty for the EM residency program.
• Teach and supervise residents in the ED and rotation sites.
• Contribute to residency program development, curriculum, and scholarly activity.

The three-year emergency medicine residency program is comprised of eight faculty members and 18 accredited residency positions.
