Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking an academic-focused emergency medicine physician to serve as core faculty of the emergency medicine residency program at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.

This role offers teaching and scholarly opportunities in a Level II trauma center with a sizeable ED, collaborating with a recently graduated residency and access to CME and mentorship within a national network.

Qualifications

• ABEM or AOBEM board certification required.
• Active medical license or eligibility in Ohio.
• Strong interest in teaching and academics.
• Experience in academic residency programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor EM residents and medical students.
• Serve as core faculty for the EM residency program.
• Contribute to curriculum development and resident assessment.
