Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine physician to join our team at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio – a community recognized as one of the best places to live in Ohio.

This EM physician role offers you the opportunity to practice clinically in a well-supported emergency department while working collaboratively with an established emergency medicine residency program at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Experience practicing in an Emergency Department is preferred.
• Strong collaboration with residency programs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in a high-volume Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with an established EM residency program.
• Participate in hospital-based coverage as part of ED operations.

This is an EM physician role offering you the opportunity to practice clinically in a well-supported emergency department while working collaboratively with an established emergency medicine residency program.

Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center

• ED Beds: 42
• Comprehensive Stroke Center, Heart & Vascular Center, andNICU
• Cath lab, MRI, and PET/CT scanners available
• Coverage: 51hours of physician and 33hours of APC coverage
• Shifts: 8 to 10 hours
• EMR: Epic
• Main training site for St. Rita’s EM residency program
