Albany Medical Center, part of the Albany Med Health System, is recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Infectious Disease physician to join the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital faculty.

The role offers an academic appointment at the Albany Medical College with inpatient and outpatient ID services, a strong collaboration with subspecialists, and a commitment to education, research, and antimicrobial stewardship.

Qualifications

• MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellowship.
• Eligible for New York State medical license.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, education, and academic medicine.
• Interest in research, program development, advocacy, or stewardship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric infectious disease consultation services.
• Deliver outpatient Infectious Disease and HIV/PrEP clinical care.
• Participate in shared night and weekend home call coverage.
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and other learners.
• Mentor trainees in clinical research and scholarly activities.
• Contribute to antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, advocacy, and program development initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the Children's Hospital.
