Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital's Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Department seeks an academic pediatric hand surgeon to join our Hand and Upper Extremity Program. The role includes clinical work, supervising students and residents, and developing a subspecialty practice in the pediatric upper limb.

Appointment at Harvard Medical School as instructor to associate professor will reflect experience and achievements, with opportunities for teaching and research across the department.

Qualifications

• MD or MD-PhD with board certification/eligibility in orthopedic surgery and hand surgery subspecialty.
• Advanced training in pediatric orthopedics (fellowship) or willingness to obtain it.
• Eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for pediatric hand/upper-extremity patients.
• Supervise medical students, residents and fellows.
• Develop a subspecialty practice in pediatric upper limb.
• Teach at Harvard Medical School and contribute to departmental activities.
