Job summary

The successful candidate will join a collaborative and academically driven team within Akron Children's Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, delivering high-quality clinical care for children with a broad spectrum of GI, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders while mentoring residents, medical students, and GI fellows.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics.
• Board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Ability to obtain an active medical license in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a large, integrated team of pediatric GI professionals to provide outstanding patient care.
• Mentor pediatric residents, medical students, and GI fellows as part of the division's academic mission.
• Contribute to research, education, and program growth within the division.
