Job summary

Akron Children's in Ohio seeks a board-certified Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join a collaborative, academically driven team of 12 pediatric gastroenterologists and 7 nurse practitioners. You will provide clinical care, mentor residents and fellows, and contribute to teaching and research within the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology.

The successful candidate will participate in education and mentorship while helping grow clinical and academic missions across the hospital.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required and able to obtain Ohio medical license.
• Board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics and board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Candidate must obtain active medical license in the state of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for a broad spectrum of GI, liver and nutritional disorders in children.
• Collaborate within a team of pediatric gastroenterologists and nurse practitioners.
• Educate and mentor pediatric residents, medical students and fellows.
• Engage in academic activities and contribute to research initiatives.
