Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited pediatric anesthesiology fellowship, or board certification in anesthesiology with at least five years of full-time pediatric anesthesiology experience.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Texas medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia and perioperative care for pediatric patients.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop individualized plans.
• Administer general, regional, neuraxial, and IV anesthesia.
• Coordinate perioperative planning with surgeons and teams.
• Manage pediatric airways, monitoring, and postoperative care.
• Oversee perioperative course and documentation.
• Participate in call coverage including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Contribute to quality-improvement and scholarly activities.

Education
