Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited medical school (MD/DO).
- Board-certified or eligible in Palliative Medicine.
- Completion of a Palliative Medicine fellowship at an ACGME-accredited institution.
- Current or eligible for North Carolina Medical License.
- Current DEA/DPS registration for prescription writing.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient palliative care with potential inpatient consults.
- Collaborate within a major cancer center and aging/Alzheimer's programs.
- Teach and mentor Hospice & Palliative Medicine fellows annually.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical documentation and care coordination.
- Operate in a system with no in-house call and a shared remote call rotation.
