Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join its outpatient Palliative Care team. This role focuses on symptom management for patients actively receiving cancer-directed therapy, with a mix of in-person and virtual visits and collaboration within a dedicated palliative care team.

The ideal candidate is an NP or PA with strong interest in palliative care, eligible for NC licensure, and capable of obtaining hospital privileges at Wake Forest

Qualifications

• Acute Care NP, Primary Care NP, or Physician Assistant.
• Board certification appropriate to APP discipline.
• Eligible for or currently holding North Carolina licensure.
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient palliative care for patients undergoing active cancer-directed therapy.
• Evaluate and manage symptoms within palliative care scope.
• Conduct both in-person and virtual patient visits.
