Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem seeks an Academic Faculty Physician specializing in Family Medicine to join Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as part of Advocate Health. This role blends inpatient and outpatient care with teaching responsibilities for medical students and residents within a nationally recognized integrated system.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school (MD/DO).
• Successful completion of Family Medicine residency.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine.
• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current DEA license for prescription writing.
• Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License (MD/DO).

Responsibilities

• Provide a mix of inpatient and outpatient Family Medicine care, including teaching medical students and residents.
• Utilize EPIC EMR; leverage DAX Copilot for draft notes and efficient review.
• Work within Advocate Health Wake Forest Baptist, supporting integrated care delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Contribute to academic activities and clinical education within the department.
