Jefferson Health seeks an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital team in Philadelphia. The role focuses on comprehensive management of traumatic musculoskeletal injuries within a collaborative academic setting.

The candidate will engage in resident education, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and opportunities for leadership within the orthopedic service while contributing to clinical excellence and innovation.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship training
• Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat orthopedic trauma patients
• Operative management of complex fractures and injuries
• Collaborate with ED, anesthesia, critical care, rehab, and other surgical services
• Participate in clinical education and resident teaching
• Contribute to quality improvement, research, and academic initiatives
• Provide patient-centered, high-quality care
