Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, seeks a Board Eligible/Certified Trauma Surgeon to provide expert care in orthopaedics with a focus on trauma. The role includes joining an established multidisciplinary team and contributing to the academic mission with protected research time.

The position offers an academic appointment with Geisel School of Medicine commensurate with experience and opportunities for outreach across NH and VT, along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME or RCPSC accredited Orthopaedic residency.
• Fellowship training in trauma.
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopaedics (to be obtained within 5 years).
• Eligible for NH medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert Orthopaedic care with emphasis on full-scope trauma surgery.
• Join a multidisciplinary team with opportunities for mentorship.
• Engage in the academic mission with protected research time.
• Appointment via Geisel School of Medicine at Professor/Associate/Assistant level, commensurate with experience.

Education
