Kennesaw State University is seeking an Academic Operations Analyst to support academic leaders by developing data-informed goals and initiatives. You will analyze published datasets and help design measures to track progress aligned with strategic plans.

The role involves coordinating initiatives from the Office of the Provost, generating ad hoc reports, and training leaders to use dashboards for targeted interventions. A Bachelor's degree and 3 years in higher education are required.

Qualifications

Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Supports academic leaders with all aspects of academic operations including developing data-informed goals and initiatives. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in higher education, academic operations, or data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
• Experience in supporting academic leaders.
• Experience in academic systems (e.g., Banner, Navigate) or units (i.e., student success, curriculum, faculty affairs, accreditation).
• Experience in data analysis and producing reports and visualizations.
• Experience in process improvement.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Able to collect, analyze, present, and report information.
• Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines.
• Familiarity with student-data systems and databases.
• Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills.
• Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite).
• Strong attention to detail and follow up skills.
• Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette.

Proposed Salary

The budgeted salary is $48,180 - $60,000 per year. Offers are based on relevant experience.
