Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking an exceptional Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our vibrant and growing team.

You will provide comprehensive surgical care for a wide range of conditions and collaborate with dental specialists and physicians across disciplines. You will engage in education of students, residents, and fellows, and have access to robust research resources to advance academic and clinical innovation.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental program.
  • Completion of an accredited OMS residency program.
  • Eligibility for Pennsylvania dental licensure.
  • Ability to obtain required federal and state narcotics certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive surgical care for a wide range of oral and maxillofacial conditions, including extractions, trauma, sleep surgery, TMJ, oral rehabilitation, and implant-based reconstruction.
  • Collaborate closely with dental specialists, physicians and surgeons across disciplines, and dedicated support staff to deliver outstanding hospital-based care.
  • Engage actively in the education of students, residents, and fellows.
  • Access robust research resources and support to advance academic and clinical innovation.
  • Help shape the future of patient care while supporting our mission to improve the health and well-being of our communities.

Education

DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental program
Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) residency program
