Job description

The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine is accepting applications for a full‑time faculty member in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS). The position is non‑tenured, and the faculty member’s rank may be an assistant or associate professor, depending on experience and qualifications. The primary responsibilities focus entirely on clinical service and leadership skills; teaching or research are not part of this role. The appointment will involve participation in University Dental Health Services (UDHS), a private group dental practice that employs Pittsburgh Dental Medicine faculty dentists. The candidate will provide high‑quality dental care for the community, diagnosing and treating patients in a private practice setting, and will supervise patient care in the clinical setting as needed.
