Job summary

University of Toledo Health and the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences invite applications for an OBGYN physician to join our academic department at the Medical Center and ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

The role emphasizes clinical care in Level IV maternal and Level III neonatal units, with teaching responsibilities and leadership development opportunities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Experience in an academic setting and a strong interest in teaching and mentorship is a plus.
• Current and unrestricted licensure in the State of Ohio required, prior to beginning the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to a diverse patient population within our Level IV maternal/Level III neonatal childbirth unit.
• Participate in an inpatient hospitalist model while also engaging in outpatient teaching and care.
• Primary responsibilities, representing approximately 90% of your effort will be to provide clinical services in obstetrics and gynecology at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.
• Occasionally provide backup support in GYN to the University of Toledo Medical Center
