Capital Medical Group and The George Washington University Hospital seek a full-time Noninvasive Cardiologist to join the Division of Cardiology in Washington, DC.

The role emphasizes echocardiography and nuclear cardiology with an academic appointment and collaboration across subspecialties. The successful candidate will contribute to education, research, and patient care within an integrated program.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Level II or III training in Echocardiography.
• Expertise in Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC certification or eligibility preferred).
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the District of Columbia.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care.
• Interpret and supervise transthoracic, transesophageal, stress, and structural echocardiography studies.
• Interpret and supervise nuclear cardiology studies.
• Participate in the inpatient General Cardiology Service and inpatient consultation service.
• Develop and maintain a robust outpatient cardiology practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiovascular teams across all subspecialties.
• Teach cardiovascular fellows, residents, and medical students in an academic environment.
