Job summary

MedStar Heart and Vascular Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center seeks an Advanced Cardiac Imaging Specialist to join our academic faculty. The role combines clinical imaging, outpatient care, and inpatient attendings with a strong research and teaching focus.

The candidate will work within a collaborative team, provide multi-modality imaging interpretation (Echo, CCT, CMR), mentor fellows and medical students, and participate in clinical research and scholarly activity.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Fellowship in Advanced Cardiac Imaging with level II/III training in Echo, CCT and CMR.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and oversee multi-modality cardiac imaging (Echo, CCT, CMR).
• Provide cardiovascular care in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Educate trainees and supervise fellows; academic appointment at Georgetown University.
• Engage in clinical research and publications.
