Job summary
The Division of Cardiology at Albany Medical College/Albany Medical Health System is seeking an academic non-invasive cardiologist to join our growing team in New York. The role offers the full scope of non-invasive cardiology in a collaborative, academic setting.
Training in cardiovascular MRI/CT or preventive cardiology is a plus. You will participate in CCU/inpatient consults, teach students and residents, and have opportunities for clinical/translational research within a multidisciplinary
Qualifications
- MD/DO degree with board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular diseases.
- Training and/or experience in CMR/CT or Prevention strongly desired.
- Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration across learners and clinicians.
Responsibilities
- CCU and inpatient consult service duties.
- Focus on cardiovascular MRI, CT and/or echocardiography based on training/experience.
- Comprehensive academic environment with teaching of students, residents and fellows.
- Opportunities to develop or participate in clinical/translational research.
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
