Job summary

Banner University Medical Group in Phoenix seeks a Board Certified/Eligible Neurosurgeon to lead a busy clinical practice (0.9 cFTE) with 0.1 cFTE protected leadership time, and to develop an integrated Neurosurgical Oncology Program.

This academic position offers a faculty appointment, involvement in resident and fellow education, and collaboration with Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center and the neuroscience network. Applicants should be committed to scholarly activity and multidisciplinary care.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery.
• Fellowship in neurosurgical oncology or demonstrated expertise.
• Leadership, program development, or administrative experience preferred.
• Arizona medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Commitment to academic medicine and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide busy clinical neurosurgery practice with leadership responsibilities.
• Develop and lead an integrated Neurosurgical Oncology Program with Banner MD Anderson and neuroscience network.
• Faculty appointment with resident and fellow education responsibilities.
• Support clinical research, innovation, and program development.
• Utilize advanced technology and clinical support infrastructure.
