Job summary

UMass Memorial Medical Group in Worcester, MA seeks an ABR/CAQ‑certified Academic Neuroradiologist to join our growing radiology team. This full‑time position offers a competitive compensation package and robust research and education opportunities within a large academic health system.

The neuroradiology division provides advanced stroke imaging, neuro-oncology, DTI/BOLD, and other neuroimaging services, with state‑of‑the‑art equipment and a comprehensive IT backbone (EPIC, PACS, PS‑1).

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Neuroradiology.
  • Fellowship trained Neuroradiologist.
  • Must hold an MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license.
  • Other relevant details will be identified by the department.

Hiring Range:

$400,000 - $450,000 Please note that the final offer may vary within this range based on a candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

Academic Neuroradiologist

Location: Worcester, MA; Facility: UMass Memorial Health; Department: Radiology; Specialty: Neuroradiology; Schedule: Full-Time

UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks ABR/CAQ certified Neuroradiologist to join our growing team. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region.

Key Highlights
  • We are comprised of ~100 Radiologists, 28 residents, and 10 fellows as well as approximately 25 research faculty and 5 full-time educators, providing comprehensive imaging services through a fully integrated health care system in central Massachusetts.
  • We are the primary academic medical center for UMass Chan Medical School.
  • Our department has state-of-the-art imaging equipment and a fully integrated IT infrastructure EMR (EPIC), PACS, PS-1 and has been at the forefront of implementation of a wide range of AI algorithms.
  • There are numerous opportunities to pursue individual interests in medical student education, Health Services or basic science research and AI, supported by a robust Radiology clinical trials office and image processing core labs.
  • The Division of Neuroradiology provides clinical focus in stroke imaging including perfusion, adult tumor imaging, advanced Neuroimaging including DTI and BOLD imaging,head and neck tumors and neurodegenerative diseases.
