Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA, seeks a full-time Neuropsychologist to join our multidisciplinary Neurosurgery team.

You will perform specialized neuropsychological assessments for adult and geriatric patients, contribute to surgical candidacy evaluations, and assist with post-operative care planning. This academic position includes teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with opportunities for clinical research and collaboration across divisions.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology with Neuropsychology specialization.
• Completion of an APA-accredited Clinical Psychology internship and a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology.
• Licensed or license-eligible as a clinical psychologist in Pennsylvania.
• Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Neuropsychology (ABPP-CN preferred).
• Track record of academic productivity and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized neuropsychological assessments for adult and geriatric patients undergoing neurosurgical evaluation and treatment.
• Contribute to surgical candidacy evaluations and postoperative care planning and follow-up.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, and social workers to inform surgical planning and patient support.
• Document findings and recommendations in electronic medical records; participate in multidisciplinary case conferences.
• Mentor and teach medical students, residents, fellows, Psychology Interns, and Neuropsychology Fellows.
