Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA is seeking a full-time Neuropsychologist to join our multidisciplinary Neurosurgery team. You will perform specialized neuropsychological assessments for adults and geriatrics to support surgical candidacy and postoperative planning.

The role offers academic appointment commensurate with experience, collaboration with diverse clinicians, and opportunities for clinical research and teaching within an academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Neuropsychology.
• Completion of an APA-accredited Clinical Psychology internship and postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology.
• Licensed or license-eligible as a clinical psychologist in Pennsylvania.
• Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Neuropsychology (ABPP-CN preferred).
• A track record of academic productivity and clinical excellence

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized neuropsychological assessment for adult and geriatric patients undergoing neurosurgical evaluation and treatment.
• Inform surgical planning and post-operative care through cognitive evaluation and consultation.
• Collaborate with neurosurgery, neurology, rehabilitation and social work teams.
• Mentor and teach medical students, residents/fellows, psychology interns and neuropsychology fellows
