Job summary

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UNC Chapel Hill seeks an Academic Neuropathologist for a tenure-track/tenured, variable, or fixed-term position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, with 0.5 to 1.0 FTE.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctorate degree and board-certification/eligibility in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology.
• Eligible to obtain a medical license in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic surgical neuropathology, autopsy neuropathology and ophthalmologic pathology.
• Possibly contribute to a subspecialized surgical pathology service, autopsy, or research.
• Contribute to teaching of residents, fellows, medical students and graduate students.
