Job summary

Rutgers Health is recruiting an academic Cognitive/Behavioral Neurologist to join the Division of Cognitive Neurology as a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor at Rutgers RWJMS.

The successful candidate will provide outpatient evaluation and management of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders, with opportunities in clinical research and teaching. RWJBarnabas Health supports a robust neurocognitive program and translational research.

Qualifications

• MD or DO board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology, Cognitive Neurology, Neuropsychiatry, or related subspecialty preferred.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient-focused subspecialty practice evaluating and managing cognitive and behavioral neurological disorders.
• Participation in the Division’s Alzheimer’s disease infusion therapy program.
• Teach and mentor neurology residents, APPs, medical students, and visiting trainees.
• Participate in inpatient general neurology consultation service and neurology rounds/academic conferences.
