Albany Medical College seeks a full-time Academic Nephrologist (Assistant or Associate Professor) to join the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension. The role offers inpatient consults, renal transplant services, outpatient hemodialysis care, and a robust teaching environment with medical students, residents, and fellows.

Candidates should have an MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Nephrology, a strong commitment to education, and an interest in clinical research.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Nephrology.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in nephrology subspecialty care.
• Strong commitment to medical education and mentorship.
• Interest or experience in clinical research is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consult and teaching services.
• Participation in renal transplant services.
• Outpatient hemodialysis patient care.
• Hypertension referral clinic.
• Comprehensive CKD outpatient program.
