Job description

The Nephrology Division at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is expanding our clinical programs at the Downtown Baltimore Veterans Medical Center and University of Maryland Hospital locations.

In addition to inpatient and outpatient clinical services, this position will also involve focused basic/clinical research. Faculty participation in multidisciplinary meetings and teaching students, residents, and fellows are integral to our programs.

Expected faculty rank is Assistant Professor or higher; final rank, tenure status, and salary depend on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

The salary range for Assistant Professors is $175,000 (min) to $272,518 (max), based on faculty rank and years in rank. This range reflects base pay and does not include all components of the departmental faculty compensation or variable programs. Actual compensation may vary based on multiple factors.
