Job summary

Keck Medicine of the University of Southern California seeks a fellowship-trained, board-certified Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgeon at the level of assistant or associate professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The candidate will develop the Keck MIS Gynecology practice at Keck Medical Center of USC and affiliated hospitals, with a commitment to teaching and outreach.

Qualifications

• MD degree with completion of a 4-year ACGME accredited Ob/Gyn residency
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery
• California medical license by time of appointment
• Comfort with advanced laparoscopy and robotic surgery (da Vinci)

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced hysteroscopic, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures (e.g., hysterectomy, myomectomy, endometriosis excision)
• Office-based procedures and evidence-based medical management
• Consults and longitudinal care for fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, AUB, and benign GYN conditions
• Collaborate on care pathways, ERAS protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
• Engage in traditional academic scholarship and mentoring trainees
