Job summary

The Keck Medicine of the University of Southern California invites applications for a fellowship-trained, board-certified academic Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgeon at assistant or associate professor level in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Based at Keck Medical Center of USC and affiliated hospitals, the candidate will develop the MIGS service, teach, and engage in research.

Qualifications

• MD degree with completion of a 4-year ACGME accredited Ob/Gyn residency.
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery.
• Must apply for CA medical license and be licensed to practice in California by time of appointment.
• Comfort with advanced laparoscopy and robotic surgery (da Vinci).

Responsibilities

• Outpatient and surgical care of complex patients.
• Perform advanced hysteroscopic, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures (e.g., hysterectomy, myomectomy, endometriosis excision).
• Office-based procedures and evidence-based medical management.
• Consults and longitudinal care for fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, AUB, and other benign GYN conditions.
• Collaborate on care pathways, ERAS protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Research responsibilities including scholarship and mentoring trainees.
