Job summary

Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston seeks a full-time Complex Benign Gynecologist (Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon) to provide outpatient and surgical care for patients with complex gynecologic conditions.

The ideal candidate will be BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology and have completed an AAGL MIGS fellowship, with an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School at Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor level.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Completed an AAGL Fellowship in MIGS.
• Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School at Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level.

Responsibilities

• Performing advanced hysteroscopic, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted surgical procedures.
• Delivering office-based procedures and evidence-based medical management.
• Providing consultative services and longitudinal care for patients with fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, AUB, and other benign gynecologic conditions.
• Providing inpatient gynecologic care including supervision of the gynecology service, consultations and emergent surgical care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide the highest level of complex care.
• Educating and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows through clinical teaching and simulation training.
