Job summary

Tufts Medical Center in downtown Boston seeks an experienced, board-certified Plastic Surgeon with microsurgery expertise to join our academic Division of Plastic Surgery. The role focuses on reconstructive plastic surgery with a strong emphasis on microsurgical free-flap reconstruction and a substantial breast reconstruction component.

The successful candidate will have a microsurgery fellowship and be eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure, with teaching and research duties integrated

Qualifications

• Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
• Microsurgery fellowship trained.
• Experience in reconstructive plastic surgery.
• Experienced in microsurgical free-flap reconstruction.
• Breast reconstruction experience preferred in high-volume practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive plastic and reconstructive surgical care with expertise in microsurgical reconstruction.
• Perform complex reconstructive procedures across a diverse patient population.
• Contribute to the division's high-volume breast reconstruction practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for complex reconstruction.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Contribute to clinical research and program development.
