Job summary

Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship trained microsurgeon to join the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Albany, NY. The candidate must hold an MD or DO, have completed a Plastic Surgery residency, be board-eligible or board-certified, and hold or obtain NY licensure and DEA certification.

The role covers breast microsurgery, head/neck microvascular and general reconstruction, lower extremity reconstruction, and on-call hand duties.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with a Plastic Surgery residency completed.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Plastic Surgery.
• Hold or able to obtain NY medical licensure and DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery.
• Head and Neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction.
• Provider will be obligated to take hand on-call.
