Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Albany Medical College offers academic leadership opportunities through its plastic surgery residency program, its medical school, and opportunities for research.

The successful candidate will hold an M.D. or D.O., complete an approved Plastic Surgery residency, be board eligible/certified, and obtain New York licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with approval to practice in New York.
• Completion of an approved Plastic Surgery residency program.
• Board eligible/certified in Plastic Surgery.
• DEA certification or eligibility for DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery.
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction.
• Provider will be obligated to take hand on-call.
