Job summary

Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Albany Medical College boasts academic leadership opportunities through its plastic surgery residency program, its medical school, and opportunities for research.

The successful candidate will perform breast, head and neck, and limb microsurgery and general reconstruction, with on-call responsibilities and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Plastic Surgery Residency Program.
• Board eligible/certified in Plastic Surgery.
• DEA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery.
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction.
• Provider will be obligated to take hand on-call.
