Job summary

Job Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (hourly pay)

Job Overview: This is a great opportunity to work with the amazing Everstone team in a capacity that serves K-8th grade students. The candidates best suited for this role loves children, demonstrates flexibility and holds a growth mindset. The caseload will include children ranging from kindergarten through middle school with various diagnoses including sensory processing disorder, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, dysgraphia, ADHD, and challenges with executive functioning.

Summary of Service Terms

• Role: Independent Contractor: Academic Interventionists @ Everstone Partner Programs
• Locations: Wicker Park, Chicago, Rogers Park, Chicago & Oak Park, IL (with the potential for virtual hours as needed)
• Compensation: Ranging from $50-$65 for direct client services, paid semi-monthly (based on years of experience and credentials)
• The hourly rate includes all scheduling, preparation, implementation, and documentation required for direct client services.
• Caseload Target: Contractors should plan to provide a range of 15-30 hours per week to meet the needs of the students on their roster. Actual hours vary based on student needs and scheduling and your desire for hours. Hours per week also fluctuate based on the school calendar.
• Availability: While you have complete autonomy in setting your own schedule, students are generally available Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on student needs and goals
• Provide direct academic intervention, which may include areas such as reading, writing, or math
• Create and document individualized goals and lesson plans
• Monitor student progress and adjust academic plans as needed
• Maintain accurate records, academic plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Manage student scheduling in the client portal, TheraNest
• Document daily sessions clearly and promptly
• Share student progress and goal updates with parents and/or the school, highlighting successes to maintain regular, constructive communication.
• Support the program by conducting screeners and identifying potential opportunities for new client engagement.
• Attend one monthly Everstone Partner Program meeting (30 minutes) and one domain-specific meeting (30 minutes) paid at your hourly rate
