SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University invites applications for a full-time Primary Care Physician / Clinical Assistant Professor (HS). The successful candidate will provide diagnostic and primary care in the UHD Clinics, teach residents and students in General Internal Medicine, and participate in faculty private practice through UPB.

Formación

• MD Degree.
• New York State Medical Doctor/Physician Licensure.
• Residency in Internal Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research.

Responsabilidades

• As an Academic Internist, assist the Division of Internal Medicine within the Department of Medicine with its clinical and academic initiatives.
• Demonstrate responsibility for the diagnostic and primary clinical care of patients in the Department of Medicine UHD Clinics.
• Teach house-staff, students, and fellows in General Internal Medicine.
• Be provided the opportunity to participate in the faculty private practice (University Physicians of Brooklyn - UPB).
