Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: MD Degree.
• Residency in Internal Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research.

Responsibilities

• As an Academic Internist, assist the Division of Internal Medicine within the Department of Medicine with clinical and academic initiatives.
• Demonstrate responsibility for diagnostic and primary clinical care of patients in UHD Clinics.
• Teach house-staff, students, and fellows in General Internal Medicine.
• Be provided the opportunity to participate in the faculty private practice (University Physicians of Brooklyn - UPB).
