Pacific Medical Centers is seeking a physician to balance patient care and teaching in a university-affiliated academic medicine program in Oregon. You will oversee your own patient panel and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including faculty and residents.

You will dedicate protected time to education, mentor residents, participate in intern recruitment, and contribute to curriculum development while continuing clinical responsibilities in primary care and hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Board certified in internal medicine.
• A genuine passion for teaching, mentorship, and learner development.
• Open to physicians at early to mid-career in academic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own patient panel in a faculty-resident Patient Centered Medical Home.
• Precept residents in primary care continuity clinic.
• Attend inpatient resident ward teams with interdisciplinary bedside rounding.
• Teach, evaluate, and mentor residents; participate in intern recruitment and interviews.
• Develop conference lectures and curriculum; guide resident QI projects.
